How to Slack
Slack is our primary method of communication leading up to and during the conference. Before the conference, you will be invited to join our communitybio.slack.com workspace.
Here is a list of some important channels to get you up to speed:
#announcements: This is where organizers and track chairs will post important announcements and updates.
#bs4-help-support: Go here to ask questions, get help with accessing Bio Summit tools, or say hello to organizers.
#bs4-introductions: Tell other members of the Community Bio movement who you are and where you’re from. Use this channel for connections and networking!
#bs4-gratitude: It’s been a rough couple of months for everyone. Use this channel for expressing good vibes and share what you’re grateful for.
#bs4-”track”: There are also 11 channels that correspond to the 11 subject tracks Bio Summit programming is built around. Use the track channels to discuss those topics, such as:
#bs4-bio-ethics-safety-and-security
#bs4-bio-art-and-design
#bs4-governance
#bs4-global-collaborations
#bs4-diversity-and-inclusion
#bs4-communicating-science
#bs4-guardianship-of-ecosystems
#bs4-learning-and-education
#bs4-power-of-community
#bs4-responding-to-covid19
#bs4-open-innovation
