Risk Communication and reporting is the heart and soul to contain a pandemic, the quality of communication can determine adherence to biosecurity information or the politicization of misinformation, fake news, half news or distorted news during a pandemic. Hence, the stratification of bio data relevant to disbursement of collated instructions for specific groups can easily be missed by mathematical models because of the diverse sociological construct of societies and polities in the case of Sahel and West Africa.
