pasted image 0.png

What:

In this workshop, you will learn about a cheap alternative to conventional electroporation devices, the Zap-Pore. First, you will learn about the high cost of conventional electroporation and why it is a problem.

Next, you will be introduced to the Zap-Pore which is a low-cost, open-source electroporation device, and you will find out about the research conducted to produce a Zap-Pore. While you are being taught about Zap-Pore, you will notice the differences between conventional electroporation and Zap-Pore, and why Zap-Pore is a cheaper option.

Then, you will be guided through the Zap-Pore website, and you will be shown how you can contribute to the site and use the site to conduct experiments using Zap-Pore. Finally, you will be guided through a live assembly of Zap-Pore using the Zap-Pore construction manual and several assembly videos.

What to bring Will drop a most files related to building Zap-pore in here and make a flyer to summarize what to do before the workshop.
