Hybrid Machine Learning Models to Remove Stellar Spots Noise in Exoplanetary Data and Learn About Exoplanet Characteristics
Removing stellar noise in data from space telescopes is essential if we have to analyse the data further to understand the predict the physical properties and chemical composition of the exoplanets.
Soil Microscopy: Observing Life In The Soils
Join us to understand how closely tied the quality of our soils are to the benefits they provide to our health, environment, and society.
Centre of Open Innovation on Biotechnology and Climate Change Mitigation
Join us to learn about agricultural innovations that we are creating such as biofertilizers, soil and biodiversity regeneration practices and CO2 fixation.
The Open Yeast Collection, an open source toolkit for assembling metabolic pathways in yeast.
The Open Yeast Collection is a free, extensible, modular, multipart assembly collection of DNA parts for metabolic engineering in Yeast.

SuperMind Design
Join us to understand how closely tied the quality of our soils are to the benefits they provide to our health, environment, and society.
Biodesign with Grasshopper
The workshop is planned as an introduction to biodesign, integrating biomimetics and digital technologies.
Bio cybersecurity - An Introductory Board Game
What:
Bio cybersecurity (BCS) is a growing field of importance to organizations that utilize cyber components (like networked computers, password protected devices, mobile computers, or social networking) and biological components (such as biological research, medical treatment, or biometrics).
However, organizations that work within these two domains often do no consider the unique gaps in security that are applicable to them until it is too late.
Through the use of a simple board game, participants may be educated in the methods of breaching both cyber and biological defense apparati. This session will include being taught how to play, playing the game, and a feedback session to bring issues to the BCS community.
What to bring:
Just your mind.

Zap-pore: a Low-Cost, DIY Electroporator
In this workshop, you will learn about a cheap alternative to conventional electroporation devices, the Zap-Pore. First, you will learn about the high cost of conventional electroporation and why it is a problem.
Transferable skills in student (bio)engineering projects
This interactive workshop will better equip participants to accompany student teams working on science or engineering projects in terms of the development of transferable skills.
DIY Millifluidics: a playful passive fluid flow sensor device activity
In this hands-on workshop, learn how to make a playful and simple DIY millifluidics tool using wax paper, tape, coffee filters and pH strips.
How to communicate science through powerful digital illustrations
A picture says much more than a thousand words. However, many researchers and scientists do not have the tools to turn their research into powerful illustrations that can communicate science in a universal language.
Guided Tour of the Bio Creation Station
Join the daily Guided Tour of the Bio Creation Station! The Bio Creation Station is the place where the global community's creative, funky, inspiring projects are showcased. Contrary to previous year, this year's Global Community Bio Summit exhibition is fully online.
